Have you ever lifted something too heavy to carry; maybe an arm load of groceries, and giant pumpkin, or a wiggly puppy? Chances are you felt the contrast between a desire to carry it and your inability. This is what it is like to raise children. They will inevitably grow up and our possession of them will prove to be temporary. In order to parent with assurance of their protection and future we must hand that heavy load over to God, for they ultimately belong to Him.
Observations & Conclusions:

Isaiah 46:9-11
“Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.”
Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
