The resurrected Jesus calls his disciples to a mountain in Galilee to give them his final command. Jesus’ last words to his disciples give us the direction that God expects from us as the next generation of disciples.
Observations & Conclusions:
- To bring the gospel message, you must be sent.
- “The Gospel message starts as a message about the kingdom and ends as a message about the king.”
- Make disciples, not just give the message
- Mission responsibility belongs to the whole church
- Focus is on the Father’s great joy

- Teaching or Discipling
- Psalm 119:11 – Evangelism

- Acts 15:40-41 – Strengthening other churches
- John 13:35 – Encouraging gospel growth locally.
