The message of the gospel is one that we not only get to share, but we get to have a share in. What this means is that God has purpose His church on earth to keep spreading the message of reconciliation and to preach the good news to all of creation. The necessary component to continue and complete this story is faith.
Observations & Conclusions:
- Faith is greater than “fact”
- Faith is fueled by forgiveness
- Faith is strengthened by following Jesus
- Faith is motivated by seeing Jesus
- Faith is rooted in believing Jesus’ words
- Faith is often found in unlikely characters
- Faith is evidenced in action
- Faith is the response to fear
Application:
Go even when it seems impossible because:
- Jesus has commanded his disciples to go
- Jesus has promised to lead
Tell the message of forgiveness because:
- You’ve been forgiven
- The message is the means of our salvation
