The Apostle Paul in closing his first letter to the Thessalonians reveals God’s will for us in adopting an attitude of Christlike thanksgiving. Today we’ll discover how our thankfulness should continue to point us and others to Jesus.

- The world offers circumstantial joy, but Jesus offers true & eternal joy
- Col 4:2 – “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful”
- We are not alone. We are given strength through the Holy Spirit

- Constant communication with God – pray without ceasing

C. Prayer partner – accountability – reminder to us to encourage each other - Become more mature in our Christian attitudes both to our brothers and sisters in Christ and also to a watching world.

C. Be an encouragement to each other – write a note of thanks
D. Be less judgmental - Refocus your attitude – put your hardships up against your joy in Christ
