God’s new creation will be a place where He is in full control, and where we enjoy full fellowship with Him. A portion of the new creation is offered to us in the new birth in fellowship with the Spirit.
Observations:

- God is, has, and will destroy death
Conclusions:

- Present – The Eternal Life is the submitting of all authorities under Jesus
- Future – The Eternal Life will be physical life with Jesus and no more death
Application:
- Make Jesus the spiritual King of your heart
- Submit all your soul to His rule: mind, will, & emotions
- Offer your body as a living sacrifice

But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him? You made them a little lower than the angels; you crowned them with glory and honor and put everything under their feet.” In putting everything under them,[d] God left nothing that is not subject to them.”

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
