Have you ever gotten off track in your Christian walk? One of the basic principles of following Jesus Christ is the gradual and progressive turning our affections from the things of this world to the things of Christ. But sometimes we need a reality check, an evaluation of our priorities, a re-centering of our life with Christ.

Today we will examine chapters 11-12 in Nehemiah and focus on two themes as Nehemiah finishes the work by endeavoring to repopulate Jerusalem and dedicating the wall and the work to God. We will see how very necessary it is to rededicate our lives in order to recenter Christ as preeminent.
