If Jesus is truly in charge, then we must follow His leadership in each sphere of our lives. Nowhere is this more critical than in the foundation relationship and covenant of Marriage.

– radiant subordination and redemptive authority - Following God’s design for marriage must be motivated by a personal yielding to the power, rule, and authority of Jesus Christ
Application:
- Tune your heart to the Spirit’s control in your marriage and embrace God’s designed role for you because you honor Jesus’ authority

- Be careful with your cultural convictions
- Be careful with settling for what is easiest
- Be careful that you aren’t defining your roles according to your own lordship!
