Observations:
- Wide is the gate – It is welcoming to find
- Broad is the road – It is easy to walk
- Leads to destruction – It leads to God’s judgment
- Many enter through it – It is popular
- Small is the gate – It takes effort to find
- Narrow the road – It takes intentionality to walk
- Leads to life – It leads to life
- Only a few find it – It is the unpopular option
Conclusions:
- The WIDE gate – the “where” – If you are going to guide, you must first be familiar with the terrain – this means deepening your understanding of the rejection and reception of Christ in our world today.
- The BROAD road – the “how” – If you are going to lead, you must first develop the skills that are needed to navigate the right way – this means sharpening your Biblical literacy and devotional habits.
- The DESTINATION – the “who” – If you are going to influence your children towards the right path, you must introduce them to Jesus
