It’s no exaggeration that this year’s Fishing Derby at Dawson Lake was the best attended one ever. Only next year we’ll need someone to tell the fish to show up too! Despite having an abundance of lines in the water, it was slim pickings for keepers.
Nevertheless less a couple of trophies emerged – and more than that, we had a wonderful time with our church family. Thank you to all who came up to participate and bring the kids as we enjoyed good food, fellowship, and fishing in God’s great outdoors.
