One of our youth, Maddie Applekamp, approached the church with a ministry idea: what if we all donated coats to the “One Warm Coat”. With only a handful of announcements and after a couple of weeks we had over 70 new or slightly used coats ready to donate. After speaking with the Oshkosh office, we were told that our little church made one of the largest donations for the year, and all of that from the obedience of one young woman.
