This was our first summer season for reaching out with salads. I believe the Helping Hearts Summer Salads were a wonderful addition to our ministry experience in that we were doing something “different” and gathering to build each other up, including those we delivered to. Also, in purchasing the salad items; everything had to be fresh and in good shape to serve. Lettuce doesn’t last long in hot weather. Makes me think of how we need to keep our relationship with Jesus, fresh, and in good shape. All three months brought different salads and different helpers, and different people to lift up and give a little love, all to God’s glory! Thankful for all those who came to help! Thankful for God’s faithfulness! Looking forward to the next season coming up, Soup!
