In a 2 year long endeavor to invite our neighbors to church, today was the culmination of those efforts. We believe that the very best place for believers to grow in Christ is in a local church, where they are taught God’s Word, and have opportunity to serve and exercise their gifts for the edification of the body. But sometimes it’s hard to offer that invitation. That’s why we decided that a more attainable invitation to help get the ball rolling would be to host a summer Pig Roast immediately following Sunday Morning Worship and see if we might be able to bless our community and encourage some new believers to come back and find out more about what it means to be part of a church family.
