It is a privilege to get to pray for our community and all the various professionals that make our land great. We believe that it is important for both the church and the member of our community to know that we are praying for them, and so each National Day of Prayer a group of us makes our way out to the corner of the road to humbly pray for a blessing over the public at large and the specific roles each person plays in creating a healthy society.
Although we only had 8 people show up to pray, God had given us 8 categories to pray for, so it worked out perfectly as we prayed for: Teachers, Government & Elected Officials, Healthcare Workers and EMS, Public Service Workers: Police and Fire; Long Term Care Facilities and Nursing Homes; Local Families, the Community as a whole, and our Local Ministers and Churches.
