Normally our small groups meet on the 1st or 3rd Thursday of the month, however due to the coronavirus we’ve had to adjust our gatherings. Now instead of living rooms we’re meetings over Zoom, and instead of hugs we’re giving thumbs-ups. We look like a modern day “brady-bunch”! I’d say the novelty of the meetings is fun right now, but many are using Zoom regularly for work meetings and conferences and the fun wears off.
For now however, it is such a blessing to have access to this kind of technology where we can still see one another and have a virtual fellowship, to laugh, share prayer requests, learn, and care for each other at a distance. One specific request has been one of our small group members Josh is leading a group from the National Guard down to Detroit to help with aid; we’re proud of you and praying for you Josh (see more HERE).
