This year’s fish fry was the best attended ever with over 200+ individuals attending. We brought over all the chairs from the church and still we ran out of seating both inside and outside. Part of the large draw was due to the VBS kids joining us, and because of the addition to grilled sweet corn to the menu.
At the beginning of the evening we started with awarding our little fishermen from last month’s Annual Fishing Derby. Congratulations to little Lonnie MacIntyre for winning 1st place!
The Community Meal is precisely what its name entails: a meal for the whole community. We would like to thank all those who helped with the preparations, cooking, serving, and clean up. Our organizers said that even though we had more people than ever go through the line, it was the fastest and easiest clean up ever too.
