This morning we celebrate our Lord’s resurrection from the dead! Even though Saturday was spent shoveling snow, our volunteers still made it out to church lead our kids in our Egg-stravaganza in preparing our sanctuary for our Easter service.
In contrast to Good Friday, with the altar stripped and cross draped in black, Easter morning was filled with balloons and an explosion of flowers. It is our church’s celebration – a “party service” with a special fellowship our following, and many songs! Our service included 6 readings that the congregation participated in, and a special Children’s presentation as the recounted the story and significance of Easter.
