Each Sunday we conclude our service with the chorus, “We are so blessed.” It must be emphasized that this song isn’t sung in any spirit of show-boating or pompous pride, but rather in humble recognition of God’s unmerited favor upon us.
This sentiment is was best summaries the celebration of our new addition to Grace: a dedicated Children’s classroom building. As we have watched our little church continue to grow, and now having received a beautiful area to train up the next generation – the only thought that encapsulates the fullness of all planning, cooperation, and construction is: “We are so blessed!”
We were honored to have Richard Wissell, Moderator for the General Assembly for the Mackinaw Presbytery come to congratulate and challenge us to keep walking by faith. We read Psalm 118 and united hands together in prayer, declaring as one: “God is good, His love endures forever.”
We give God the thanks, and look to Him by faith asking for His continued favor to help us shepherd our children, and make good use of the resources we have for their growth and His glory!
