This past Saturday we held our annual Ministry Leadership Team Meeting, for anyone in our church who serves to help lead others in the love of our Lord, from the most obvious roles to the most overlooked.
Together we looked to God’s word to answer these core questions:
- What is church?
- Whose church?
- What’s my role?
We focused our instruction on a few key points:
- Christian leadership shapes worship
- Character is more important than gifting
- An essential attribute of a leader is vision
- Leaders foster unity, humility, and service
Our new 2018 church theme is “Growing:Together”
We concluded with table discussions working to answer these 3 questions:
- How is your ministry a conduit for worship?
- What is your vision for your ministry?
- What is the “character” of our church you want visitors to see?
