There’s one thing you cannot accuse a Grace Church member of, and that is not cooking enough food. This year’s picnic was fantastic. The weather man called for rain, but it was nothing but beautiful; not even a sprinkle until everything cleaned up and the cars were all but gone.
The service was short with a few praise songs, prayer, a homily, and opportunity for testimony. The picnic consisted of over a dozen side dishes and a mountain of burgers, hot dogs, and brats. There were even 2 whole tables of treats and desserts!
After lunch, the attention turned to fellowship and fun. Outside the kids had “minute to win it” games, and even a piñata, and most of the grown ups watched or battled it out in feverish games of bean-bag toss.
Special thanks to everyone who contributed to the picnic and came out to make it a success!
