Grace Church and the community surrounding North Dickinson County held a fund raising event at the Sagola Community Center in honor of Pastor Dave Anderson. Dave has been battling cancer for many years and has recently announced his retirement as Senior Pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church.
The Tribute Event was fantastically attended with and estimated 2,000 people attending, and raising close to $50,000 for the fundraiser.
Although the comfy anti-gravity chairs were put out in the shade for Dave and Marie, there was no keeping Dave in his seat. Despite the difficulty, Dave is such a people person and greeted with hugs almost each and every person who came to support him.
Serving for years as the chaplain at the Hospital, and as the Pastor of Grace, Dave has touched so very many lives. We salute you brother Dave and wish you the very best as you continue to fight. We stand beside you as your community and family, and hope that you feel all our love.
